What is Stray Demon?

Stray Demon is a 17+ dark fantasy, comedy webcomic currently in its development phase that centers around a demon named Cyrus who is employed by the Vatican. One of the Vatican’s main goals is to oversee the integration of the magical/supernatural world into human society, and the main task force behind these operations is called the Supernatural Creatures Division (SCD).

Cyrus happens to be the only demon employed in this unit which subjects him to a lot of troubles working there. But the pay is good, and it’s not like there’s anything better for someone of his kind. And his job gets harder when he’s ordered to be a bodyguard for a college student named Allison who unlocks her latent mage powers after Cyrus nearly shoots her in the face, which now makes her a target for demons and other creatures looking for a rare delicacy. Now they’re forced to live together to both of their dismay.

Cyrus

The Stray

The main protagonist. Cyrus is a laidback guy that isn't afraid to speak his mind. He's a demon of misfortune raised by humans when he was young, causing him to be ostracized by both humans and demons.

Allison

The Flex Mage

The deuteragonist. Allison is a college student studying to be a vet. A hard worker, smart, and stubborn, she is not impressed at the fact that she has to live with a guy that turned her life upside down in a matter of minutes when she unlocks her latent mage abilities.

Templeton

The Icebreaker

Cyrus' British subordinate but he's more of a partner and close friend since he's the only man in Cyrus' unit. He's very patient and good natured and finds Cyrus' attitude "entertaining" compared to most. He's still the one to whack some sense into his superior.

The ArchAngels

An awkward cluster of misfits that didn't ask to be anointed and overworked by the Seraphs

Gabriel

The Voice

Gabriel is the leader of the ArchAngels and the Angel of Annunciation. He's a charismatic leader and a workaholic. He's VERY empathic to a fault. He can't help himself getting involved in Earthly affairs much to the Seraphs' disapproval.

Michael

The Sword and Shield

Michael is second in command and is the Angel of Protection. He is also the leader of the Angel Military Forces. Having unrivaled strength with the exception of is brother, Lucifer, and the Seraphs, he has a huge responsibility with such power. He's quite the gentle soul despite his imposing look.

Raphael

The Mouthy Doctor

Raphael is third in command is the Angel of Healing and patron of doctors. His incredible healing abilities and aptitude of the medical field has earned him his position as much as he hates being in the spotlight. He'd prefer to be fishing and doing his healing behind closed doors than be ordered around by the higher ups.

Uriel

The Fiery Artist

Fourth in command, Uriel is the Angel of the arts and learning. He is the smartest out of the four only rivaled by Raphael. He comes off as aloof and uptight but is actually quite the people person and hopeless romantic like his sister, Jophiel.
